Firmware Upgrade 3560 for all CR2 & CR3 Code Readers - March 25, 2008

Code Corporation is pleased to announce the release of Firmware 3560 with Boot Version 3266 for use with all CR2 & CR3 Code Readers, improving overall reader performance.

  • Supports radio firmware version 1000+ (to work with Microsoft Bluetooth Stack) and secure Bluetooth connection
  • Added support for USPS4CB symbology

Enhancements Include:

  • Improved usability of holding down both triggers for 5 seconds to reboot the reader
  • Improved LED charging status indicator on charger
  • Improved decoding of low/high sample density codes

Firmware Upgrade 4126/0044 for all CR1200 Code Readers - July 27, 2007

Code Corporation is pleased to announce the release of Firmware 4126 with Boot version 0044 for use with all CR1200 Code Readers, improving overall reader performance.

  • Added support PS2 Communication*
  • Added support for USPS4CB symbology
  • Added keyboard CAPS lock detector feature. In the instance where the 'CAPS LOCK' is enabled on your keyboard used with Code Reader utilizing keyboard communication mode, data scanned will retain the data integrity and not transpose date to uppercase from lowercase and vice versa

Firmware Upgrade 3484 for all CR2 & CR3 Code Readers with Optimization for ALL Handle Accessories - May 16, 2007

Code Corporation is pleased to announce the release of Firmware 3484 with Boot version 3104 for use with all CR2 and CR3 Code Readers, including improved overall reader performance.

Note: The Boot version with this firmware release has not changed from Firmware 3308 or 3226 releases.

  • Added support for USB HID POS communication mode
  • Added support for OCR MICR font
  • Increased tolerance for RSS symbology and QR read curvature
  • Added keyboard CAPS lock detector feature. In the instance where the 'CAPS LOCK' is enabled on your keyboard used with Code Reader utilizing keyboard communication mode, dta scanned will retain the data integrity and not transpose date to uppercase from lowercase and vice versa
  • Added several JavaScript Application improvements, see JavaScript Programming Guide Version 03: http://www.codecorp.com/manuals.html
  • Added rs232ForceOn
  • Added support to take black and white picture(s). Previously only supported grey scale pictures
